On Saturday the 1st of April our fearless leader Sal landed in Sydney to attend the national Australian Small Business Champion Gala dinner and Awards ceremony. The awards ceremony was held at the Westin in Sydney, with over 1000 guests in attendance!
This was an incredible honour for Barefoot. The awards night focused on recognising and awarding outstanding businesses with high standards of excellence, within the small business practice.
The night was filled with food, drinks and great company – a highlight was meeting the team at Riverlife. It was an incredible night, allowing Sal to meet and be inspired by so many individuals and businesses alike.
Managing director of the Australian Small business Steve Low, really summed it up well when he reiterated the “vision and dedication to excellence required to succeed”.
Here at barefoot we truly understand and believe in the process, the little things behind each and everything that we do at Barefoot. These all go together to help us do what we do best – help others, and ourselves live the Barefoot lifestyle.
For those of you who may not know already, Sal and the Barefoot team were named Champion Physiotherapy on the night. Staying true to our business name, Sal had already taken off her shoes when she was called up to stage, so there she stood, in front of 1000 people – barefoot!
As part of Sal’s speech she talked about reading her journal from 2001 – wanting to be a person that has many stories, goes on many adventures, with lots of friends and living life.
If you haven’t had a chance to view her speech, stay tuned for the full version on our Youtube page soon. If you can’t wait, we have posted it on our Instagram & Facebook page (search “Barefoot Physiotherapy or Barefoot Physio on Instagram”).
We are so excited to see what this year holds for Barefoot, and would like to thank everyone who continues to support us in the “Red Brick house”. To find out more about Barefoot, click here.
