It’s a great question, and one that all of our clients want to know! Getting you back on your feet a moving pain-free is our number one goal.
For some clients, you may see improvements in as little as one session. For most, you may require a few physio treatments to get you on the road to recovery. It really depends on the injuries faced and how we can help. In general, our goal is to reduce the number of visits that are required to get you moving properly and thereby reduce the overall cost of treatment.
Once we have a blueprint and pinpoint the root cause of the problem, we outline a timeframe for recovery and indicate how many treatment sessions will be required. Our aim is to get you back on your feet, living your best life.
Yes! Our goal is to identify the underlying cause behind injuries and ensure that we put together a plan that will enable long-term mobility and results. Once we have identified the underlying cause of your injury, our dedicated Physio Brisbane team can put together a customised treatment plan.
During the first few sessions, our Physiotherapists will be searching for areas in your body that may be contributing to the problem. During this time we will thoroughly assess your injury to identify the root of the problem which will save time in the long run and make your recovery more efficient and your treatment more cost-effective.
We are conveniently located 20-minutes from Brisbane City and Brisbane CBD which means that you can arrive, park, and leave as quickly as possible.
Barefoot is located at the ‘Red Brick House’ 28 Curzon St, Tennyson Q4105 (near the Queensland Tennis Centre). You can turn left into Curzon St from Tennyson Memorial Ave but if coming from Graceville/Chelmer direction you will need to go via Walker St. We service all surrounding neighbourhoods of our clinic; providing the leading physio services in the area.
Please wear loose-fitting clothes that enable you to move and stretch freely for your consultation. We recommend:
Ladies – running shorts/tights and a loose top or singlet
Gentlemen – exercise shorts or loose-fitting pants
If you are coming from work or another appointment, we have a toilet and changeroom at the clinic so that you can change before your consultation. We also provide shorts and singlets in the changeroom should you require them.
From the get-go, we want to ensure that you’re getting treatment that is entirely tailored for you, your injuries and your rehabilitation. As such, we recommend that our new clients book an hour-long initial consultation – which costs $180 (General Physio) or $260 (Senior Physio). The 60-minute initial appointment allows us to assess your body and create a fully tailored, customised treatment plan.
Follow up appointments vary in costs depending on which physiotherapist you work with. Follow ups range from $140 to $180 for a half-hour session depending on physio level. Rebates are available for clients covered by Medicare ($58/session) and referred by your GP.
For those that are eligible to receive a rebate from Medicare under the GP Management Plan, a referral from your GP is required.
However, most of our clients do not need a referral to book an appointment with our physiotherapists. You can simply make a booking by either giving us a call on 1300 842 850 or booking online.
