There is plenty of parking available on site for clients, with the entry driveway easily visible from Curzon Street. The parking goes all around the building with the exit driveway out the other side. For those travelling by bus, several bus routes stop nearby, and the closest bus stop is only a five-minute walk away.
Do I Need a Referral for Physiotherapy Appointments?
There is no need for most of our clients to get a referral to book a physiotherapy appointment at Barefoot.
For those eligible to receive rebates from Medicare for physiotherapy treatment under the GP Management Plan, a referral from your GP is required.

How Much Do Physiotherapy Sessions Cost?
For your first booking with Barefoot, we recommend that all our new client’s book for an initial consultation which costs $170 for your first session. This initial consultation allows us to assess and test your body so that we can customise a treatment plan that directly caters to your needs and gets you moving comfortably as soon as possible.
After the initial consultation, follow-up appointments range, depending on the physio you choose, from $142 to $154 for a half-hour session.
For clients that are covered by Medicare, rebates are available for physiotherapy visits if you are eligible and referred by your GP under the GP Management Plan.
For those with private health insurance funds, most funds allow you to make claims for physiotherapy visits, however; this depends on your individual health fund. For more details about how much your fund will cover, we recommend that you check with your private health care company directly.
