Joy and Scritches… and Naps
Pip is a five-year-old Curly Coated Retriever. While often mistaken for a Labrador crossed with a Poodle, she’s part of one of the oldest retriever breeds – once a favourite of English gamekeepers on large estates. Curly Coated Retrievers are known for their tight curls, love of water, and loyal nature.
Pip takes her role at Barefoot seriously: running in to greet her team when she arrives, boosting morale, and reminding everyone to slow down for pats and play. She swims daily when she’s at the beach to keep her curls in top form, and has a fortnightly bath in Brisbane so she’s always clinic-ready.
Her “treatment style” is simple – joy, warmth, and connection.
