Barefoot's Olympian —
Caitlin is passionate about Barefoot’s mission – empowering people to confidently live the life they choose.
She understands that looks different for everyone and is committed to meeting people where they are, walking alongside them in their journey. With a strong focus on self-management and long-term injury prevention, Caitlin combines her clinical expertise with empathy and encouragement.
Her most rewarding moments are when clients share that they can now do things they haven’t done in years. Caitlin enjoys working with people who have struggled with pain or stiffness for a long time and is driven to uncover the root cause of recurring problems.
Working with Caitlin —
Caitlin’s most rewarding moments are when clients tell her they can now do things they haven’t done in years. She loves a challenge and enjoys working with people who have struggled with pain and stiffness for a long time.
Her focus is always on finding the true underlying cause of recurring problems, so you can do things you never thought your body was capable of. She thrives on seeing how a strong, healthy body transforms not just movement, but overall quality of life.
Although Caitlin retired from elite track and field in 2021, her time as a high-performance athlete shaped her deeply. It showed her how empowering it is to feel strong and pain-free, and highlighted the importance of building a supportive health team. That experience now flows into her role as a mum, reinforcing her belief that everyone — no matter their age or stage of life — can care for and train their body like an athlete.
Caitlin brings together her coaching background and physiotherapy skills to improve performance and prevent injury. She has a particular passion for running and Olympic lifting but enjoys supporting anyone working towards a physical activity goal.
Despite her personal love for sport, Caitlin enjoys working with people from all walks of life. She is a strong advocate for inclusive healthcare and has been part of the Barefoot community since 2016. Based in Austin, Texas, she currently works in a training role with the Barefoot team and will return to treating clients in Brisbane in 2026.
Outside work, Caitlin spends time with her husband Jared and daughter Evie — often adventuring, travelling, or cooking up a storm. She is also involved in Athletics Australia’s mentoring program and Barefoot’s Reconciliation Action Plan advisory group.
